3 tons collected for the Food Bank

Once again this year, the Onet Foundation has partnered with Food Banks for their national food drive!

A live collection drive at the Géant Casino in La Valentine, Marseille

In Marseille, the Foundation reaffirmed its commitment at the Géant Casino de la Valentine on November 25 and 26; this provided an opportunity for headquarters staff—some accompanied by their children—to get involved by participating in this charitable initiative.

We were also able to count on the help of 8 young adults from the Regional Institute for the Deaf in Provence, as well as 23 volunteers from the Scouts et Guides de France. The Bouches-du-Rhône Food Bank recorded 310 tons collected across the department, a 16% decrease compared to 2021. Given the current economic situation, this is still a positive outcome, as it allowed us to collect a significant amount of hygiene products and baby supplies, for which there is a high demand.

Pickup locations across the country

An on-site collection drive was also organized at all Onet branches nationwide from November 21 to 28.

Thanks to the dedication of the project leaders, 13 sites across 12 departments have joined the effort.

Just like last year, the Dijon branch set a new record with 172 kilograms collected! In its first year participating, the Montluçon branch came in a close second with 169 kilograms collected and set a record for the number of donors
