Onet Foundation

Acting for everyone, contributing to a different world

Established on September 24, 2010, our corporate foundation’s primary goal is to support initiatives that promote solidarity and combat substandard housing and housing insecurity.

A foundation committed to creating lasting social impact

The Onet Foundation works to promote human development in a healthy, safe, and supportive environment. It is committed to improving the living conditions of the most vulnerable people, guided by a practical vision of civic engagement.

Through its active presence on the ground, the Foundation supports local organizations that work with marginalized communities and builds lasting partnerships to enhance the effectiveness of its initiatives and strengthen ties with local stakeholders.

The Onet Foundation's Priority Areas of Focus

Substandard housing

Improving housing and living conditions to create a safe living environment

Food insecurity

Food aid, essential for security

Poor sanitation

Ensuring access to hygiene: a matter of dignity

A structured and people-oriented organization

The Onet Foundation is organized around a Board of Directors, which sets general policy and outlines the organization’s main areas of focus. It is composed of several members, including:

  • 2/3 of whom come from the founding companies of the Onet Group or their employees,

  • One-third of qualified individuals recognized for their social expertise.

The Board meets three times a year to ensure that projects remain consistent with the Foundation’s core values.

We support organizations and the most vulnerable members of society by carrying out grassroots initiatives to foster a spirit of solidarity

Day-to-day management is handled by Caroline Orofino-Daumas, Deputy Director, who represents and coordinates the Foundation; Camille Demange, Head of Philanthropy and Partnerships, who oversees projects and the network of partner organizations; and Constance Joubert, a work-study communications coordinator.

Our concrete actions of solidarity

Solidarity and Housing Day

Every September, our employees come together for Solidarity and Housing Day to help improve the living conditions of people in need.

This initiative brings teams together to carry out small-scale projects at facilities that serve people in vulnerable situations (such as shelters and social reintegration centers (CHRS), asylum seeker centers (CADA), day centers for the homeless, shelters, community food pantries, etc.).

Three major charity drives

Throughout the year, the Foundation coordinates:

  • A drive to collect hygiene products (soap, shampoo, feminine hygiene products, etc.) for local organizations;

  • A food drive to benefit food banks;

  • A toy drive for children from families staying in shelters.

These initiatives, led by employees across the country, demonstrate a genuine commitment to helping others. Local organizations thus receive invaluable support.

Skills-based volunteering: "
"—2 days to get involved

To reinforce this commitment, the Onet Group has established a skills-based sponsorship program.

Each employee may devote two days per year to a community service project during work hours, through the Foundation.

Two types of assignments are available:

  • Field assignments: logistical support, workshops, guidance…

  • Expert services: support in communications, strategy, HR, and more…

As part of the national Food Bank drive, employees in Marseille and the surrounding area had the opportunity to take part in a “hands-on” initiative by collecting food donations at a partner supermarket.

An opportunity to dedicate half a day of work time to combating food insecurity.

In 2024: a stronger mobilization than ever before

Community-focused projects at the top of the agenda

In the face of a profound social crisis, 2024 was marked by an intensification of the Onet Foundation’s efforts. Thanks to the teams’ drive and strengthened partnerships, the number of projects has grown significantly.

This initiative demonstrates a commitment to working together in a sustainable manner to support the most vulnerable, with a particular focus on women and all those affected by this social crisis.

Organization

Poverty doesn’t stop at the dinner table. It also plays out within the four walls of a home. Faced with substandard housing, thousands of people live every day in undignified conditions or are homeless.

Annual Reports

Every year, the Onet Foundation publishes an annual report detailing its commitments, achievements, and social impact. Learn how our projects support the most vulnerable members of society.
