A 1,500-km bike ride to support the Onet Foundation

From April 21 to May 3, 2025, Pascal Martin, a technical advisor for general nuclear installations at Onet Technologies, cycled 1,500 km from Brest to Marseille, accompanied by his partner Lamia. He undertook this 13-day physical challenge to raise awareness of issues related to substandard housing and housing insecurity through the Foundation’s initiatives.

A sporting challenge in support of a charitable cause

No stranger to athletic challenges, Pascal uses each one as an opportunity to support a cause close to his heart. This year, he chose to support the Onet Foundation. Together with Lamia, he shared daily updates on his LinkedIn profile highlighting the highlights of their journey, accompanied by photos featuring the Foundation’s flag.

The journey was challenging, with changing weather conditions, long distances, and steep climbs. Pascal and Lamia crossed France, covering daily distances ranging from 70 to 160 kilometers.

A report to build on the initiative

As with every one of their athletic challenges, Pascal and Lamia film themselves fully immersed in the experience so they can share their adventure: the people they meet, the beauty of the landscapes, and even a few setbacks.

This spotlight allowed them to give meaning to their efforts and to share a message of commitment and solidarity.

With this challenge, Pascal Martin reminds us that sports can be a powerful tool for raising awareness.

A big thank you to Pascal and Lamia for choosing to share the work carried out by the Onet Foundation in partnership with local organizations!
