In 2021, the Onet Foundation partnered with Food Banks for their national food drive, providing Onet Group employees with an opportunity to get involved by participating in this initiative and to uphold the company’s values of solidarity and sharing.
In France, an on-site food drive was organized for all branches from November 22 to 29, 2021. Thanks to the involvement of volunteer “food drive coordinators” across the regions, 13 locations in 11 departments participated. The Onet Services et Propreté branch in Dijon holds the record with 98 kg of food collected, equivalent to 196 meals.
The Onet Foundation reaffirmed its commitment to the Géant Casino collection center in La Valentine, Marseille, on November 26 and 27. It was able to count on the help of 73 volunteers, including Onet employees, SPVL high school students from Lycée Pastré Grande Bastide, and members of the Scouts et Guides de France.
A successful food drive! Four tons of non-perishable food items were generously donated—enough to provide 8,000 meals.
For the 2021 campaign, the Bouches-du-Rhône Food Bank collected 370 tons of food, a 6% increase from the previous year. All of the food will be distributed to the 100,000 people the organization assists on a daily basis within the department.
