Collection of hygiene products

From March 6 to 24, a nationwide drive to collect hygiene products was organized at various Onet Group locations.

Substandard housing at the heart of the Onet Foundation’s initiatives

The Onet Foundation is committed to combating substandard housing by implementing concrete initiatives to support people in precarious situations, particularly to improve their access to sanitation. It is thanks to the dedication of the group’s employees that we are able to support organizations that work directly with these communities.

The diversity of nonprofit partners

This fundraising effort enabled the Foundation to collaborate with various partners to maximize our impact on behalf of those most in need.

Among these organizations, “Un petit bagage d’amour” in Paris helps pregnant women and mothers living in extreme poverty. The goal is toprovide mothers with all the necessary supplies so they can welcome their babies in good conditions and with dignity. More than 200 “petit bagages d’amour” are distributed each month.

For its part, Féminité sans abri collects hygiene and personal care products from individuals and businesses, which it then distributes to people living on the streets, particularly during outreach patrols.

In Marseille, Solidarités International supports people living in substandard housing such as slums, encampments, or squats who have limited access to basic sanitation services. The fundraising effort has helped improve living conditions and hygiene for these communities.

The Pierrelatte Municipal Social Action Center has set up a food bank to provide assistance to residents facing the greatest financial hardship. Since the main supplier is the Drôme-Ardèche Food Bank, hygiene products are in short supply, and this type of collection helps to supplement the food bank’s inventory.

The collection of hygiene products involves:

  • 19 branches of the Onet Group are involved
  • Several hundred kilograms were collected thanks to the generosity of our employees
  • More than 1,000 beneficiaries
