The Society of Saint Vincent de Paul is a nonprofit organization whose volunteers reach out to the most vulnerable people every day.
The charitable social initiatives carried out by volunteers also include efforts to combat poverty. They provide food aid through outreach programs where food is distributed, as well as by operating community restaurants and grocery stores. Intended for anyone in precarious circumstances who wishes to participate (students, homeless people, people with limited resources, single-parent families), these initiatives also serve as a social support network and provide an opportunity for interaction between volunteers and beneficiaries.
