Founded in 1956 in France, the organization SOS Villages d’Enfants is recognized as a public-interest organization and is dedicated to child protection. It provides a safe, family-like environment for siblings who have been separated from their families.
Across its 23 villages in France (17 departments):
• Care for children placed in the custody of Child Welfare Services with foster parents
• Keeping siblings together to preserve emotional bonds
• Support until young people achieve full independence
• Support for vulnerable families to prevent children from being placed in foster care
