Founded in 1780 and recognized as a public-interest organization in 1839, the Société Philanthropique currently operates 42 facilities and services, primarily in the Île-de-France region. These facilities provide support to people with disabilities, women in highly vulnerable situations, the elderly, and children and adolescents in need of protection, as well as assisting those who require medical care or housing.
