Solidarité Femme is a federation of 81 organizations that, throughout France, provide support, assistance, and shelter to women who are victims of violence and their children. In the late 1980s, the FNSF launched a public awareness campaign with government support, and in 1992 established the national helpline for women who are victims of domestic violence, which became 3919.
