Home » The Onet Foundation Publishes Its 2022 Activity Report
Our annual report highlights our Foundation’s achievements and commitments to fostering solidarity and combating substandard housing. In 2022, the Onet Foundation continued its mission by providing tangible support to the most vulnerable. Through innovative initiatives, charity drives, and collaborative projects, we have helped improve the living conditions of many people in precarious situations.
In 2022, the Foundation carried out significant initiatives to help those most in need. Solidarity and Housing Day, which brings together Group employees, made it possible to carry out improvements to living spaces for people in need, such as shelters and social reintegration centers. This day also helps strengthen ties between Onet teams, partner organizations, and the people they serve.
Several community service projects were carried out in France, helping to improve the living conditions of approximately 300 people. In addition, for the first time in 2022, international subsidiaries of the Onet Group participated in Solidarity and Housing Day, carrying out five community service projects in Brazil, Spain, and Luxembourg.
O’lien – A Shower Truck: This initiative aims to provide the most vulnerable people with access to hygiene, a source of self-esteem, and a way to strengthen social bonds. Designed by the teams at Onet Technologies, O’lien is a truck equipped with an automatic cleaning system that runs after each shower. It is self-sufficient in water and electricity, enabling it to fulfill its daily mission: providing homeless people with access to hygiene and clean clothing. Two O’lien units are currently in service in Marseille and Clermont-Ferrand.
Modulomobil – A Luggage Storage Facility: In response to the growing number of homeless people in Marseille, the Onet Foundation developed Modulomobil. This project aims to create a modular and sturdy luggage storage facility to store the personal belongings of homeless individuals. The facility was set up at the Salvation Army Foundation’s William Booth Residence in Marseille, offering 65 individual lockers.
In 2022, three fundraising events were organized to support the Onet Foundation’s partner organizations:
1. A hygiene product drive made it possible to provide donations to various organizations throughout France
2. Employees participated in the National Food Bank Drive, with 13 on-site collection points in 12 departments and a collection point at a hypermarket in Marseille
3. A Christmas collection was organized at the Group’s headquarters in Marseille to benefit the Adoma association, for the children of the Les Jardins de l’Espérance residence.
Following the building collapses in Marseille in 2018, the collective project “Entreprendre pour les Marseillais délogés” stepped up to find concrete solutions for those who had been displaced. Partner organizations, including the Onet Foundation, provide financial, human, and material support to improve these individuals’ living conditions. Since its launch in 2021, the collective has assisted 118 displaced households by implementing initiatives focused on integration, access to quality housing, training, healthcare, and much more.
